My stay at the hotel had some highlights, with clean rooms and a lovely view of the lake, but the experience was marred by some issues. While the grounds are pretty, the facilities need attention, and the dining hours didn't align well with our schedule. Overall, it felt like the hotel could use a little more effort to offer better value for the price.
I stayed at Wild Rose Resort for two nights while heading to Wyoming and encountered a mix of experiences. The location was stunning, right by the lake with great views, but the overall atmosphere felt chaotic with many RVs and noise from nearby kids. While our cabin was tiny and a bit dated, it was clean and manageable for our needs. The dining options were limited, but we made do with what we had. It’s perfect for fishing enthusiasts looking for an affordable spot, but don’t expect luxury here.
While the resort offers a stunning location near prime fishing areas, the overall experience leaves much to be desired. Our initial cabin was cramped and noisy, but the basement room we switched to was acceptable if a bit dated. The lack of essentials and basic amenities was disappointing, particularly for the price. It's worth considering for fishing enthusiasts, but those seeking comfort and modernity should look elsewhere.
I had a really frustrating experience during my stay. The campsite I booked turned out to be poorly maintained, and they didn’t seem to care about my concerns. While I was eventually refunded, it was such a hassle. On the other hand, the fishing in the area is fantastic, and the scenery is beautiful, making the location one of the few highlights of my trip.
The Wild Rose Resort has a fantastic view of the lake and is ideal for fishing enthusiasts, but it's not exactly a resort. The rooms can be cramped and dated, and the amenities are minimal. However, if you're looking for a simple place to stay while enjoying the natural beauty, you might find it acceptable.
